Support has rocketed to return cattle back to their rightful home on the roof of Hanworth Dairy Crest.

People have stormed the getwestlondon website, and social media sites Twitter and Facebook since the Chronicle broke the story of the iconic cows taken down online yesterday (10) morning.

A phenomenal number of people from far and wide have joined the campaign backed by getwestlondon and created by father-of-four Joachim Jellinek of Park Road, East Twickenham.

So far the story has been read by 20,000 readers on our website and been shared a whopping almost 10,000 times, with close to 900 shares from our Facebook pages.

It has also reached 73,000 people on the Hounslow Chronicle and Getwestlondon Facebook pages.

The petition has currently reached 4,256 signatures and continues to grow.

People will not rest till the cows come home!

More than 1,200 people had signed the petition by 5.30pm yesterday (10).
