FAMILIES enjoyed the glorious sunshine and bounced their way to raising funds for a popular pre-school in Pinner.

Children who attend Pinner Pre-School at the Parish Church Hall enjoyed a bouncy castle and other activities in aid of the charity which runs it.

Patti Alvarez, one of the fundraisers, said: “It was brilliant, everyone really enjoyed themselves and we had all the children who come to the pre-school with their brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents. We rely on fundraising as the pre-school is a charity and without these events we couldn’t carry on.”

The annual event, on Saturday, May 26, ran all afternoon and there was a steady stream of people taking part in fishing games, face painting and other activities.

Ms Alvarez was pleased with the turn-out and took her daughters, who both attended the pre-school.

She added: “We haven’t counted up how much we raised but we always do very well as people are very generous and enjoy the events.”

Shops and restaurants from around Pinner donated more than 30 prizes for the raffle which helped to raise £200 alone.
