DISRUPTION is expected to the Metropolitan Tube line tomorrow because a one-day strike by train drivers.
Transport for London will be running what it calls a "special timetable" to cope with the industrial action on Wednesday July 21.
Anthony Wood, the chairman of the Harrow Public Transport Users' Association said: "I have just heard from the Rickmansworth depot crews have decided to strike tomorrow over disciplinary action taken against a train operator.
"They have had to put an emergency timetable in - basically all day, all services will have reduced frequencies."
This means the Chesham shuttle, which solely connects Chesham and Chalfont and Latimer, on the main Metropolitan line, will not run.
Instead, Chesham will be served by a through service that calls at all stations to Wembley Park.
The Piccadilly line service will be enhanced between Uxbridge and Acton Town station in the morning and evening rush hours while Chiltern Railway will be making extra stops where possible.
