OVER 100 Twickenham neighbours came together over the weekend to enjoy a Big Lunch inspired street party.

Residents of Crane Road took advantage of the Sunday's fantastic weather to enjoy food provided by Greggs the Bakers, drink and entertainment.
Both children and adults enjoyed a drum workshop , face painting and a meet and greet with fire fighters.

After lunch children were treated to a gingerbread making class before being entertained by Children's entertainer, Dash, whilst the adults battled it out in a tug of war.

Organiser Claire Carter who was motivated to put on the event by Charity The Eden Project's Big Lunch campaign, said: "It was a fantastic day. As the bands struck up and the sun started to go down the children settled for ice creams and pop corn in their own open air cinema.

"Thanks must go to all the residents that helped make it such a special day and the local businesses; Greggs, Chapmans, Angelos and Twickenham Fine Ales that made it possible."
