I CAN'T understand why areas like West Drayton and Hayes seem to have more and more trees cut down without any regard for the way the area looks.

If the council can't spend the money needed to give these towns the regeneration plans they require why can't they at least invest in a few more trees within the high streets?

The council seem to have no regard for the development of West Drayton, there are more and more multi-storey buildings coming into the area blocking out the sky and yet there is hardly any greenery to be seen anywhere.

It would be nice to be able to step out of the house and see a few more green leaves rather than slabs of concrete everywhere.

I hope the council can at least take some initiative to see the issue improved because I know there are many residents who feel the same way and it would do a lot to help restore pride in our area.
