Comedy dance act Stavros Flatley provided the belly laughs at a fun day on Isleworth's Ivybridge estate yesterday.

The bare-chested father-and-son duo joined singer Stacey Solomon and dance group Signature, who invited youngsters to take to the stage, at the free one-day festival in Summerwood Road. Chad Strentz and the Chad-illacs completed the impressive line-up.

Houseline Building Services, which helped organise the event in aid of the estate's BridgeLink Centre , said the number of visitors surpassed 2,000 at its peak.

Off stage, revellers tested their staying power on the rodeo sheep and their head for heights on a climbing wall before tucking into food from the barbecue.

The raffle, held in aid of the community centre, included a signed shirt donated by Arsenal and England star Jack Wilshere.

James Kennedy, of Houseline, said: "We're doing some work on the estate and when we were asked by BridgeLink to get involved we thought it would be good to give something back.

"The residents said it's the best community day they could remember and hopefully we've raised a decent amount of money for the BridgeLink Centre."
