BUSINESS starters and entrepreneurs are being offered the opportunity to receive free skills advice.
Harrow Council has teamed up with ABi Associates to offer a series of creative enterprise courses.
The first is on Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm, for those wishing to start a T-shirt making business.
This course will feature all the main areas of start-up, including designing for profit, sample printing, starting a business and selling and marketing.
This course will be followed by a start your own small business course on Friday next week, from 10am to 12.30pm.
This will guide budding entrepreneurs on how to start up a firm, based around their own business ideas, and will take them through the process of key considerations and offer advice.
Everyone who attends the courses will also receive a business start-up toolkit.
Harrow Council’s portfolio holder for planning and regeneration, Councillor Will Stoodley, said: “These free business courses will give those wishing to go it alone in the world of business invaluable tips and advice.”
