Three men have been arrested following a high-speed car chase through the streets of Stanmore.

Three men have been arrested following a high-speed car chase through the streets of Stanmore.

Police spotted a red Rover car speeding on Stanmore Hill just after 10pm last night, but it failed to stop when signalled.

Officers chased the car for more than three miles before its occupants fled in Landseer Close.

Three men aged 19, 22 and 29 were later arrested by Harrow Police and bailed to return.

The 19-year-old was charged with taking and driving away a motorvehicle and the two others were charged with allowing themselves to be carried in a stolen motor vehicle.
