More than 300 rainbows, brownies, guides and their leaders from Ealing and Hounslow took over Questors on Saturday, to watch the first performance of the theatre's Christmas production, Beauty and the Beast.

At the end of the show, members of the 6th Greenford Brownies at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, in Greenford, were allowed to carry out their promise ceremony on stage.

Ella De Feo-Mayers, Natasha Murray, Grace Hibbs and Gabriela Evans, all aged seven, took their promise alongside members of the cast.

Desiree Polluk, development worker for the local girl guiding area, said: "We are very grateful to the Questors cast and staff for giving the girls who made their promise an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.

"The whole guiding experience is all about having fun activities while developing girls' characters so that they can keep their promise. It was a very good production and everyone had a really enjoyable afternoon."
