A man who was stabbed in a Brentford street after being chased by three men is making a good recovery, police said this afternoon.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to hospital last Thursday (May 22) after being stabbed multiple times in Windmill Road.

A police spokeswoman today said: "The victim is making a very good recovery and will shortly be discharged from hospital."

She said no arrests have yet been made, nearly a week after the attack, and police are still appealing for witnesses.

The man was walking along Carlyle Road towards Windmill Road when he was approached by three men, according to police.

They tried to take his bag and jacket and then chased him down the road, where he was stabbed several times with an unknown weapon.

Eye witnesses spoke of their shock following the stabbing in what they said was normally a peaceful road. It was the latest in a spate of stabbings across the borough.

The suspects are all described as black and aged from 15 to in their 20s. One is described as wearing a grey hooded top and another as wearing a red jumper.
