FOOTBALL fans can cheer on a side representing St Luke's Hospice's against a team of ex-Arsenal players and celebrities in a charity match.

The 11-a-side fixture kicks off at 2pm at Zoom Leisure in Harrow View, on Sunday (Aug 27) and was arranged in lieu of a 5-a-side tournament at Goals Wembley that was scheduled for July 3 but had to be cancelled at the last minute.

The trophy up for grabs that day - the St Luke’s Champion Cup - is what the two sides will be competing for this weekend.

On the pitch, sponsored volunteers from the Kenton hospice will form an All Stars team to take on a squad comprising former north Londonn professionals and famous faces.

At the sidelines, families can enjoy children's activities, festival stalls and a barbecue.

The proceeds of the event will go towards the hospice's 25th anniversary £250,000 fundraising campaignt that backed by the Observer.

n Entry is £3 for adults and £2 for children. Tickets can be purchased on the gate on the day but if you would like to book your tickets beforehand or are interested in joining the St Luke’s All Stars team, contact Kate on 020 8382 8096 or email or visit
