MORE than 60 squatters have been evicted from a building in Shepherd's Bush that has been earmarked to become a school.

The squatters caused upset among neighbours after they took over the former Askham Road Family Centre earlier this year.

It is set to become the new home of Queensmill School, Fulham, a specialist unit for autistic children, but the squatters held up building work and neighbours complained of noise and antisocial behaviour.

But after a lengthy court process following their complaints to the coucil, police were finally given the green light to evict them on Tuesday.
