TEN squatters who illegally forced their way into several council flats in South Kilburn have been successfully evicted.
Empty properties in Cambridge Court are now free of illegal occupiers after Cambridge Court, Ely Court and Wells Court were targeted by an unusually high number of squatters.
The squatters forced their way through industrial strength doors and windows that had been put in place to secure the flats, which were scheduled for repair work to make them habitable for short-term letting.
Brent Council and Brent Housing Partnership secured possession orders for all the blocks affected.
The evictions at Cambridge Court were followed by four evictions at Wells Court on Monday and five at Ely Court on Wednesday.
