Richmond was hit by a spate of burglaries over the bank holiday weekend, with 21 homes broken in to.
In one incident, in Wensleydale Road, Hampton, thieves used a long rod to hook some keys from a table through a letterbox while the home owner was asleep upstairs. They made off with the man's car from his driveway.
Two homes in Rocks Lane, Barnes, were targeted on April 8, with victims losing cash, jewellery and electrical items.
