IT WAS reported on Radio 3 that while the North and Scotland would be wetter the South would be drier.

The Environment Agency was cited as the authority for this prediction, according to which the Thames would lose more than 25 per cent of its volume.

This contradicts the same agency's prediction of flooding by the river and one can only resolve the contradiction by assuming the agency is speaking in support of its local partners, the council and the Thames Landscape Strategy, which have destroyed Ham Wood to impose a vista of a flooded cow field and need a flood to justify their philistinism.

The council and strategy are scare-mongering to get what they want and the Environment Agency is party to it.

It was, after all, one of its agents who denied at the Ham House meeting that trees were cut down in Ham Wood, when logs were piled in would-be decoration either side of the defile by the defilers.
