Frustrated drivers have taken to social media as an apparent traffic light fault has brought cars to a standstill at rush hour every morning.
Since Monday, each morning traffic has been gridlocked in roads surrounding the Victoria Road and Long Drive traffic light junction.
Neighbours say the roads are already a traffic nightmare for drivers hoping to connect to the A40 at the Polish War Memorial in West End Road.
Transport for London have received a number of complaints from frustrated commuters. A spokesman said the queues looked to be caused by a fault in the phasing of the traffic light system.
