I HAVE just been to see the beautiful new Greenford Broadway development; thousands of paving stones laid but not one tree planted!

In my own street, despite requests for more trees, the only things the council has planted this year have been eight lamp-posts which shine into my bedroom window and keep me awake. In fact they are so bright, I am able to read the Gazette in bed without turning on my bedside light. Whatever happened to Ealing's Green credentials? Perhaps its tree logo should be replaced by a concrete slab?
