A SIXTH person has been charged in connection with a probe into allegations of fraud at a Wembley school.
Police have made the arrest as part of a two-year probe into the alleged misappropriation of funds at Copland Community School in Cecil Avenue.
Dr Indravadan Patel, 72, of Green Lane in Stanmore, was charged last week (June 7) and will appear on bail at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday June 12 charged with conspiracy to defraud and fraud by abuse of position.
Five others have previously been charged and are all bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on the same day.
They include Sir Alan Davies, 64, former head teacher of the school, of Grants Close, Mill Hill, who faces charges of conspiracy to defraud, money laundering, conspiracy to commit false accounting and fraud by abuse of position, and former deputy head, Richard Evans, 55, of Barnet Road, Barnet, who was charged with conspiracy to defraud and fraud by abuse of position.
