A singing school that also aims to generate a feeling of well being in student warblers and help tackle anti-social behaviour is opening in Hammersmith.
The Courage to Sing classes will be run in Ravenscourt Theatre School in Galena Road, Hammersmith, by professional singer Katy Seath.
She uses relaxation techniques to help students overcome shyness to allow them to perform.
Katy, 27, who opens the course in November, said she hopes her techniques will encourage students to focus their energy on creativity.
She added: "Our trainers understand a fundamental point about our troubled communities - that when people are being creative, they are not being destructive."
