Mayor of Hillingdon officially opens ice skating season

Uxbridge ice rink opened for business on Thursday evening.

The mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Allan Kauffman, welcomed the young skaters from the Slough ice arena who put on a display, and there was hot food and mulled wine for the public.

The rink is open seven days a week from now until January 5 in front of Hillingdon Civic Centre.
