A WOMAN who had just been sexually assaulted bravely gave chase to her attacker through the streets of West Kensington.

At around 3.30pm on Saturday, November 5, a 29-year-old female was walking along Vernon Street, when she was approached by a man near the junction of North End road, who groped her breast.

As she began to call the police, he tried to grab her phone - but failed. He then fled the scene across North End Road down the side of the Live and Let Live pub. While on the phone to the police, the fearless woman gave chase to her attacker but lost sight of him along Bishop King's Road.

The suspect is described as an Asian man, aged around 25 to 29 years old and about 5ft 10ins tall. He had black greasy hair with a small pony tail, London accent and was wearing a light brown jumper, dark jeans and carrying a rucksack.

Police have this week released a CCTV image of the attacker and are appealing for information to help identify the man.
