A SECURITY guard was seriously injured in a robbery at a recycling yard this morning.
The man was attacked at Ron Smith Recycling, in Staines Road, Feltham, at about 1.30am.
A police spokeswoman said the guard was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
Up to five people entered the property and stole a significant amount of property, though police said they were unable to gvie further details of what was taken at this stage.
DS Simon Dowling, of Hounslow Police, appealed for witnesses, saying: "This was a vicious attack and we are determined to bring the people responsible to justice."
