Police have charged a second man with the murder of Harrow student Kul Hawadleh.

Onochie Madekwe, 33, of no fixed abode, was charged yesterday with the murder of Hassan Kul Hawadleh and the attempted murder of a 19-year-old man.

He was also charged with unlawful killing, GBH and violent disorder.

Madekwe, who was arrested in Holland on March 3, is due to appear in custody at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on today.

Andrew Spence, 21, of Freeland Court, Freeland Road, W5, also appeared at Brent Magistrates' Court on February 28, charged with murdering Kul.

He also faces charges of attempted murder of a 19-year-old man and violent disorder.

Hassan Kul Hawadleh was stabbed to death in Harrow Weald on February 19.
