THE search is on to find the lucky winner of nearly £100,000 in a June draw of the National Lottery.

A prize of £98,041 is yet to be claimed by the person who bought the winning ticket in Ealing and matched five numbers and the bonus ball on Wednesday June 30th draw.

National Lottery players are being urged to double check their tickets for the chance to win the life-changing amount of money.

The numbers were six, 18, 20, 25, 35, 36 and the bonus ball was 31 and the winner has until 5.30pm on Monday December 27 this year to claim the prize.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

"We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest accumulated, will go to the Lottery Good Causes charity pot.
