PEOPLE in Kensington and Chelsea are being urged to check their EuroMillions tickets after it was revealed that a lucky winner has not come forward to claim their £1million.
A EuroMillions butler has been sent to Kensington to find the Royal Borough's missing millionaire from the draw on July 26 this year.
The mystery winner has until 11pm on Wednesday January 22, 2014 to make their claim. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea winning ticket bears the unique EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle code - BZP141415.
A lottery spokesperson said: "The most expensive street in the country resides within the Royal Borough boundaries. Maybe our winner is one of the already super-rich residents? Whoever they are, it’s exciting to know that someone in the Royal Borough is walking round not knowing they are a millionaire. It could be any one of the people our EuroMillions Butler spoke to today and we urge every player to check their tickets.
"This draw has been life changing for 87 UK ticketholders already and we are desperate to find our missing millionaire from the Borough. This special draw, like every draw, helps to raise more than £35 million every week for National Lottery Good Causes across the UK."
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket. Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £30billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.
