The 2013 Christmas Postal Service is now up and running for the fourth year in a row - and postage prices have been frozen at just 20p a card.

The service is organised and run by the Ruislip, Eastcote and Northwood (REN) Explorer Scouts. Post boxes have popped up in various places in the north of the borough for people to post their Christmas cards to send locally.

Cards and money must be posted before December 17 at any one of the following outlets:

In Northwood:
Just Sew, 20 High Street
Northwood Health Foods, 3 Rowland Place, Green Lane
Northwood Library, Oaklands Gate

In Northwood Hills:
Bennett Holmes, 33 The Broadway, Joel Street
Northwood Hills Library, Potter Street

In Eastcote:
Bennett Holmes, 121 Field End Road
Eastcote Library, 88 Field End Road

In Ruislip:
Manor Farm Library, Manor Farm, Bury Street, Ruislip
Ruislip Manor Library, Linden Avenue, Ruislip Manor
South Ruislip Library, Victoria Road, South Ruislip

Youngsters from the 1st Northwood, 4th Eastcote and 2nd and 9th Ruislip scouts will sort through the cards and deliver them to houses across Northwood, Northwood Hills, Eastcote, Ruislip, Moor Park, and in Hampermill Lane and Brookdene Avenue in Watford.

Full details and a map can be found at http://www.renxmaspost.org.uk/

All the money raised through the service goes towards the REN Explorers expedition to Kandersteg in Switzerland, next year.
