A perverted pensioner who was jailed for masturbating in front of school pupils while dressed as a Boy Scout has pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children.
Jack Colin Pennell, of Harlyn Drive, NorthwoodHills, pleaded guilty to 10 charges of making indecent images and one of possessing 124 indecent images, graded between level one and four.
In April the pensioner was sentenced to six months in prison for dressing as a Scout while leering at Harlyn Primary school children from his patio doors.
The 76-year-old's bungalow backs on to the school's playing fields, where 25 pupils aged nine and 10 were having their PE lesson.
Alarmed by the suggestive movements he was making, the teachers moved the children and called police, reporting of seeing the pensioner dressed as a Scout.
When police arrived, Pennell refused to answer the front door, forcing officers to scale the back fence.
But after entering through the patio doors they found Pennell hastily getting dressed and discarding a Scout's woggle.
At Uxbridge Magistrates' Court he was found guilty of performing a sexual activity in the presence of a child aged under 13 and sentenced to six months in prison.
On appeal he was released after serving 32 days and given a suspended sentence.
At last Thursday's hearing at Harrow Crown Court, Pennell, who suffers from ill-health, struggled to breathe as he pleaded guilty to all the charges.
The court heard how the images of levels one to four, found by police at his home following his arrest, included 'young males involved in penetrative sex'.
Images are graded on a scale of one to five, with five being most serious.
He was released on unconditional bail and is subject to a sexual prevention order. He will be sentenced next month.
Detective Inspector Graham Hamilton of the Public Protection Group at Hillingdon Police said: "We would like to reassure the community that the police and their partner agencies will continue to work together to combat any risks posed."
