A Feltham man who used his 'low intelligence' as an excuse for molesting two girls has been jailed indefinitely after a judge ruled it made him more dangerous.

Jason Eade, of Sparrow Farm Drive, was handed the sentence after he confessed to having sex with a vulnerable 15-year-old on Hounslow Heath and molesting her 13-year-old friend.

The 31-year-old appeared in the dock at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday and will now stay behind bars until the authorities decide he is no longer a threat to youngsters.

Judge Andrew McDowall told him: "I acknowledge your own vulnerability as set out in a report and it may reduce your culpability. But I am also satisfied that vulnerability increases your risk to others.

"You were sexually attracted to young girls because you were able to communicate with them on your level. So I am satisfied there is a risk of more offending and of causing serious harm."

Eade admitted inciting the15-year-old to have sex with him four times in December and January and sexually molesting her younger friend at Donkey Wood.

He could be out in little more than two years if the authorities deem he is no longer a threat but will be 'on licence' and remain on the sex offenders' register for life.

Judge McDowall said: "I accept that the relationship with the 15-year-old girl was consensual but the law is there to protect such young girls - she was not simply under 16, she was particularly vulnerable.

"The offence against the 13-year-old happened in the presence of the older girl and was accompanied by a threat to throw her into a stream -regarded by you as a joke, but not by her."

Defending, Sophie Shotton, said the sex with the older girl was always consensual and her client denied the 13-year-old had asked him to stop.

She added: "He has, perhaps, sought out people of a similar mental age to himself. But he is quite clearly aware that what he did was wrong. He was not able to recognise their vulnerability."
