THE British 10k London Run taking place on Sunday July 12.

We at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) are looking for runners to take part in the event and raise vital funds.

Scientists estimate that about a third of the most common cancers could be prevented by following a healthy diet, being physically active and maintaining a healthy weight.

Running or jogging is a great way to be physically active and applying for the British 10k is the perfect way to get started.

Starting at Hyde Park Corner, the 10k run is the biggest in Britain with 26,000 people taking part last year.

The route takes runners past famous sites such as Tower Bridge and The London Eye.
