Ruislip tube station has re-opened after police located a suspect package.
The station and surrounding Pembroke Road in Ruislip, was closed by police while they dealt with the 'security alert'.
Both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly line services using the station were closed between Uxbridge and Rayners Lane during the incident.
Transport for London is now reporting that the lines have also re-opened but both are suffering from severe delays.
In November, police closed the high street in Uxbridge after a security alert saw shoppers evacuated from the intu Uxbridge shopping centre.
Later, a 40-year-old was arrested on suspicion of making a threat to cause an explosion.
