A gang of robbers went on the rampage in Shepherd's Bush on Tuesday, committing six separate attacks on people, many of whom are believed to have been robbed of new Christmas presents.

Three of the gang were arrested following the spree which happened in and around Uxbridge Road between about 1.15pm-6pm. Five of the six attacks were successful, with a number of mobile phones and shopping items stolen. It is not yet clear what sort of, if any, weapon was used in the attacks.

Police investigating the crimes have issued a reminder to people not to display shopping bags and personal belongings if possible.
