SHOCKED Hayes residents have described their sadness after a man died in a motorcycle accident this morning.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, died today in on Christmas Eve after his motorcycle was in collision with a car in North Hyde Road, Hayes at 6.30am.
Police had to close the surrounding roads for several hours, and traffic is now flowing as normal.
Jatinder Bains, a driving instructor, said: "Its really sad, there was another accident last night too. It doesn't matter if its Christmas eve or any other day it is just as much a tragedy that someone has died."
Shabaz Dar, who lives in nearby Roseville Road, said: "It is generally quite a busy road, and we must do something about the roundabout.
"The left hand lane should be just for turning left, it is really sad that this has happened on Christmas Eve."
