New life was bought to a Feltham estate after the community came together to let their creativity flow.

As part of Hounslow Homes Anti Social Behaviour programme, residents from Watermead Estate were encouraged to take responsibility and look after their estate.

Everyone from children to adults grabbed a paintbrush and worked together to produce a painted mural of flowers and gardens. A barbeque was also put on for all the hard workers.

Housing services manager, Kim Mitchell said: "Working together as a community to improve estates is the best way forward, this event is a way of working with the community and Hounslow Homes in supporting residents of all ages who want to make a real difference."

The project was sponsored by Hounslow Homes and the detached youth work team from Hounslow Integrated Youth Support Service.
