We often look up to see the sky smeared by streaks of white vapour but what are they?

Reader Emese Bodi, 35, of Fairlawn Grove in Chiswick has sent in some pictures of a disrupted sky with long lines of cloud patterns above Chiswick over the last two weeks.

Mr Bodi, originally from Hungary, who moved to the UK eight years ago cites the strange formations as chemtrails.

He is one of a group of people who has taken it upon himself to learn about chemtrails and geoengineering.

Mr Bodi said: "I am aware of chemical spraying into the atmosphere from airplanes which contains Aluminium that is extremely damaging to the health.

"Geoengineering is used to block out the sunlight, to cause weather modification and to control food supply.

"I am concerned about this issue as I realise many people are still unaware of this problem."

However, while some believe chemtrails are a reality and a threat, others believe it is a paranoid conspiracy and myth.

Here you can see some more photos of amazing colourful cloud formations taken in South Ruislip, last week.
