An 18-year-old accused of raping a woman in The Grove Open Space will appear before a judge in November.
Jeton Jashari, of Toorack Road, Wealdstone, is alleged to have carried out the sex attack on September 9 at the public park in Lowlands Road and also of stealing the victim's mobile phone.
He originally appeared at Harrow Magistrates' Court, Rosslyn Crescent, Harrow, on September 25 and reappeared again yesterday (Thursday) to argue for bail. However, this was refused and he was remanded in custody.
Due to the seriousness of the alleged crimes, the case has been transferred to Harrow Crown Court where Jashari will appear on November 12.
