An Asian man was knocked to the ground by a gang of racist teens who yelled abuse at him before making off with his mountain bike.

The 30-year-old, was punched to the ground, by a thin white boy, at around 8pm, on October 24, after refusing to hand over his Black Challenger Bullet bike, in Hatton Road, Feltham.

The gang, which included two white boys, a black boy and a white girl, all aged around 15 years, stopped him as he was riding over the canal bridge, towards Hatton Cross.

They carried on kicking him and shouting racial abuse as he lay on the floor and then stole his bike. The victim was taken to West Middlesex Hospital and treated for cuts and bruises.

Inspector Manpreet Bains, of Hounslow Police, said: "This was an unprovoked and vicious attack and it was lucky the victim was not more seriously hurt. I'd urge anyone who knows these teenagers to get in touch."
