Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) has put out a last minute call for boys who want to be girls for the day to turn up at Ruislip Social Club in Grosvenor Vale tomorrow (Saturday).
Pantomime Dames or Emily and Florence the 'ladees' from Little Britain or the taxi driver from The League of Gentlemen - whatever your look, you will be welcome. Registration starts at 11.15am and the run/walk/sashay starts at noon.
All it will cost is £20 for the hospice, which includes a £5 voucher for refreshments en route. And perhaps your dignity.
The route is two miles, through Ruislip High Street, Bury Street and Breakspear Road, so make sure there are plenty of mates along the way to take pictures, take video and take the Michelle. And to stuff your garter with cash.
To get your look just right, why not have an early morning raid on the MSH charity shops in either Green Lane, Northwood, or Ruislip High Street? Perfect for that slinky little number on what promises to be a hot day.
