THE QUEEN has arrived in Harrow.
The estatic crowd is cheering The Queen and Prince Philip, giving them a warm welcome to Harrow.
Harrow Observer reporter Hannah Bewley said: "The Queen and her husband have arrived! The crowds are cheering as they get out of the car and walk up to the school."
She added: "Crowds are watching the visit on big screens. The Mayor is following closely behind as they go into Krishna Avanti school."
The Queen and Prince Philip are coming to town today for the first time in almost eight years.
It is the first day of the London diamond jubilee tour.
The Harrow Observer is following every step of the day through a live blog.
Claire Palmer joined in the fun at our blog just a few minutes before her majesty arrived, she said: "The choir is now in the 'welcome zone' awaiting the Queen. There are hundreds of people there."
One lady said: "My husband is there now...he is also on the "60 Faces of Harrow" book..."
