A new-look Chiswick pub has welcomed back punters following a huge £100,000 makeover.

People piled into the popular watering hole as general manager Steven King reopened the doors to the Bulls Head on the Strand on the Green, last Saturday (28).

The renovation at the Grade II listed building is complete with new carpets and furniture to complement the country pub's 18th century charm, along with a lick of paint, on the inside, and a spruced up riverside garden for the summer days.

Alongside with the refurbishment comes a fresh new menu and a wide selection of brew.

Pulling the first pint behind the bar, Mr King said: “The opening night was a real success with great feedback from regulars and visitors alike on the delicious new menu and the fantastic interiors.

“We have also invested in the Bulls Head riverside garden, making it an ideal summer spot for local residents and walkers alike to enjoy a taste of the great outdoors as well as a traditional pub experience.

“The team and I feel truly honoured to work in a Grade II listed building in a beautiful setting.

"We look forward to sharing it with lots of returning and new guests over the coming few weeks.”
