A couple who hit it off after being introduced by friends down their local pub have tied the knot.

Donna Kim Jones, 27, an administrator, of Kenmore Crescent, Hayes, married David Anthony Connor, also 27, a builder, of Thorndike Avenue, Northolt.

The couple, who met at The Brook House pub in Hayes, were married at St John's Church on Hillingdon Hill, Hillingdon.

Donna is the daughter of Melrose and Derek Jones, and the groom is the son of Gillian and Mark Connor.

Donna wore an ivory Maggie Sottero Zaga wedding dress, decorated with gold lace, and held red roses, while her bridesmaids held white ones.

The service was conducted by The Reverend George Pinnell and the bride was given away by her father.

She was assisted by bridesmaids Rebecca Sarndon, Hayley Graham, Kayleigh Jackson and the bride's sister, Debbie Jones, along with two flowergirls and two page boys.

The best men were Terry Law and Patrick Sweeney, along with four ushers.

The reception was then held at Brunel University in Cleveland Road, Uxbridge.

The newly-weds had their two-week honeymoon at The

Voyager Beach Resort, in Kenya, where they spent their time by the sea and also went on a night safari.

Donna said: "David likes animals and I like the beach, so we halved it at 50/50. It was gorgeous."
