OUCH! The wrong picture was published in the Chronicle's 'StreetLife' feature last week.

The pub mentioned, the Railway Tavern, was actually positioned next to the level crossing by Feltham Station, down Bedfont Lane.

It was, of course, pulled down several years ago to make way for the regeneration of the town.

But you are right, we DID have another pub right on the corner where McDonald's is today.

The name escapes me, although I passed it often enough on my way to work.

I think it's back to the drawing board and search the picture archives to get the right picture on the corner of Bedfont Lane.

Wasn't it The Cricketers which was transformed into the more modernpublic house situated in Feltham centre after the old one was pulled down?

The old Co-op stood on the other corner of the lane.
