A music lover who has worked at the Royal Festival Hall for 37 years has received an MBE.
Kenelm Robert, of Highland Road, Northwood Hills, received his honour from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on February 27.
He was appointed MBE in the New Year Honours for his work as head of customer relations at the South Bank venue.
The 56-year-old said: "The whole experience is something that few people have done and it was remarkable.
"Prince Charles treated everyone equally and made everyone feel at ease.
"As soon as we arrived everyone reassured us that we were there to enjoy ourselves. They were very courteous."
Mr Robert took his two children, Steven, 23, and Elizabeth, 22, and his wife Maureen to the ceremony.
He also held a party to celebrate with his friends, family and colleagues.
