CUSTOMERS will have more than double the time to deliver their letters in Ruislip Manor when their post office gets a new location and longer opening times.
The office at 118 Victoria Road is moving to a more central position, 100 yards away at number 91. The new location will include a shop, open from 6am to 7.30pm, seven days a week.
The post office counters, with a full service, will be open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm but the shop will be able to provide most services when they are closed.
Customers can comment on the move in a six-week public consultation, before a final decision is taken on the proposal. The consultation will close on May 9.
