A police officer at Heathrow airport who has pleaded guilty to theft awaits sentencing.

Glynn Rogers, 52, was arrested on August 26, and admitted to stealing a wallet containing £2,450, Westminster Magistrates' Court heard on Thursday, November 6.

He will remain suspended from duty and misconduct proceedings will commence once sentencing is complete.

The wallet was handed to him as lost property whilst on-duty as a PCSO at Terminal 4, on August 19, but it was not taken to a police station, booked in and recorded.

He will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on a date yet to be confirmed.
