AN INJURED man made his own way to hospital after being shot in Neasden.

The patient, in his 20s, is in a critical condition at a north west London hospital following the incident in Elgar Avenue, off Brentfield Road, at 1.30am this morning (Friday December 6).

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are in custody at a north London police station.

A spokesman for the police said: “Police were called at 1.29am this morning to gun shots heard in Elgar Avenue. No injured parties were found. At 1.57am this morning police were called to a man in his 20s who had attended a north west London hospital suffering from gun shot wounds. His condition is believed to be critical. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.”

Brentfield Road in Neasden was closed while police investigate the incident.
