HOLIDAY snaps of a couple on a worldwide trip have been released by police in a move to reunite them with their stolen property.

Officers have taken the unusual step of releasing a picture found on a camera and a digital photo frame, which were recovered by police in north-west London.

The man and woman were featured in a number of snaps taken all over the world, and PC Alison Plant, of Harrow

CID, is keen to reunite the pair with their holiday memories.

She said: "From their holiday snaps it appears that the couple, who are white and are believed to be in their forties, have been on a round-the-world cruise, possibly on the Queen Mary, and have recently visited South Africa, Egypt and Canada.

"There are photos of them by Table Mountain in Cape Town, next to Niagara Falls in Canada and at Luxor in Egypt.

"We are very keen to identify the rightful owners of this property and reunite them with it."

PC Plant added that as the weather improved over the coming weeks, Harrow householders should ensure they locked all doors and windows when leaving home and remove the keys.
