Police stormed a house in Bedfont early on Monday morning and arrested a man in connection with a serious crime.

Police stormed a house in Bedfont early on Monday morning and arrested a man in connection with a serious crime.

Spinney Drive was closed at both ends between around 6.30am and 8.45am while police carried out a warrant on an address in the road and arrested the man.

A witness who drove past the scene said: "There were three or four cars, two at one end and and one at the other and it was taped up - it looked like there was something going on."
