A BROTHEL has been closed after neighbours complained clients mistakenly knocking on their doors.

Police and council officers sealed 58 Hibernia Road, near Hounslow station, last Thursday (September 12).

The property is believed to have been used as a brothel for months.

Action was taken after neighbours complained about people knocking on their doors at all hours and asking if it the brothel was there.

A three-month closure order was issued by Feltham Magistrates' Court last Thursday.

Anyone entering the building during that period without the permission of police or the court can be arrested.

Police said the property was empty when it was sealed, with the owners and occupiers having been given 48 hours notice before the court order was issued.

PC Tom Blair, of Hounslow Heath Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said the property had been used as a brothel for months and a large number of prostitutes were believed to have operated from the premises.
