Police are appealing for information about an incident which has left a teenager in hospital in a critical condition.

Detectives from Trident Gang Crime Command are asking about an incident which happened in High Mead, off Station Road in Harrow, on Wednesday last week at 4.50pm.

A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital in a critical condition after receiving hospital treatment for wounds to both his thighs, while another 17-year-old boy who suffered injuries to his neck, has since been discharged.

Police attended High Mead after receiving reports of an altercation. However, the two 17-year-old boys had left the scene and later turned up at a north London hospital for treatment.

DCI Simon Moring, from Trident Gang Crime Command said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward and tell police what they saw that day. A number of motorists and buses pass by the area via the A409, it is possible that someone travelling saw the altercation.”

  • Abdulkadir Roble, 20, of Springway, Harrow, was arrested and charged on November 21 with wounding to intent, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court tomorrow (Friday).
  • A 19-year-old arrested on November 19 in connection with the incident has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in the new year.
