Police are trying to establish whether a home in East Acton has been burgled or not.

Officers were called to the property in Napier House, Broomyard Avenue at 5.30am on July 12 after neighbours spotted the front door left open.

When officers entered they found a number of empty designer bags with receipts and Rolex watch boxes littering the floor. Police suspect this could be the result of an untidy search.

Neighbours told the police that the property is often left empty for weeks at a time. Police were also told by other people living in Napier House that they had not seen anyone at the property recently and do not know who lives there.

Police want to hear from neighbours who saw people entering or leaving the premises in the early hours of the Saturday morning.

DC Shakila Khan from Ealing CID is leading the investigation. Anyone with information can call police on 101 and quote reference 2516981/14 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
